December 2008... we took an adventurous three week road trip. Once we left our home in Michigan our first destination was Myrtle Beach... then down the east cost of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida...on to the Florida Keys all the way to Key West where we ran out of road.... then back up the west coast of Florida, ending up in Ft Myers Beach. We spent several days at the Red Coconut RV Resort on Estero Island. Some of you might recognize the location... the beach shot shown below shows up quite often in RV and travel magazines. We absolutely loved it. You can barely see our Roadtrek in the center of the front row...just left of the large blue umbrella in the foregound.
Here is a different angle shot from behind our Roadtrek as we enjoy the sweet living on the front row watching life go by...
Another of our favorite locations was on Fiesta Key shown below... we had a campsite right on the waters edge.

Breaking news...flooding of Indian Lake...
Winter is on it's way... the next two photos are reminders of why we like to travel to warm climates during the winter months... makes me cold just thinking about it...
